What Happened?.

This is not the best Blackcurrant. It was when I first purchased it, but after the sell by date it lost its potency just like the Capella Sugar Cookie. It ended up tasteless!
The Capella Silverline Blackcurrant is a great alternative and a great taste even after 18months if you want a Blackcurrant Candy taste?.

LOVELY

Realistic blackcurrant, sweet and a little tart. Excellent in cheesecake, use at around 5% for this, or add to other fruits at 1% to make them taste more cooked, or jammy. Very good flavour, no off notes.

A Great Berry

This is a great blackcurrant and works well in Anise, Menthol mixes. Flavor is a dark dry mature grape like flavor. Very good as a mixer and I would not go above 2% or it will take over your recipe imo.
